January TUSAL

Err yeah... so it's been 6 months since I last posted about the TUSAL (click the image above to go to the site that explains all) and my ORT Jar got pretty full in the meantime.

This is the jar with everything since my last post and the end of last year. In it are threads from the Vakje per Week, the ornament I started for my fiancé's youngest, linen and threads mystery SAL, Dear Rine, Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL and some more bits and pieces I can't remember off the top of my head.
I have found myself a new ORT Jar as I rather like keeping needle minders on there and I've got a few more than I used to and a flat surface is so much nicer than a round one for holding them in place. The threads in this jar are from January (and the last day of December).

And so you can see what's in the jar... the back too! In it are threads from the NYE Mystery SAL, Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL, Randje per Week, and January Fob a Month.
Both jars have been emptied into the Master Jar of Threads which has all the threads in it from the first day I started the TUSAL till now. It doesn't look very big like this but the jar is 9" tall and 3 1/2" wide. It doesn't look like it can take any more threads but I gave it a bit of a push and completely compressed it's only half full so I'm good to go for a few more years!

I'll be back in a few days with the weekly Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL pattern! Till then be safe and have a great rest of your weekend!

  1. Beautiful ORTs! My ORT jar is squarish too. I like being able to lay it flat with no rolling for photos.

    1. Thank you! I used my tablet stand to hold the jars, also no rolling around and if the jar is emptyish then you can still see the ORTs :)

  2. Oh, keeping needle minders on your jar is a nice idea. I should try that :)

    1. Thanks! They tend to be a bit too heavy for my small hoops and as I usually use that size I thought it would be nice to look at them all the time instead :D
